President and Managing Partner
Austin Painter brings over a decade of financial markets experience to the GCP team. As President of Gray Cardinal Partners (“GCP”), Mr. Painter oversees all of GCP business operations. Prior to being a co-founder of GCP, Mr. Painter spent his career occupying various positions across numerous investment banking and trading desks. Most recently, Mr. Painter served as Managing Director of King Tide Partners where he specialized in small cap biotechnology opportunities.
Mr. Painter has been a licensed financial representative for 10 years holding his Series 7 and 63 licenses. Mr. Painter graduated with degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Emory University in 2008 and received his MBA from Emory University in 2015.
